To the fact that, you were given a chance to go back the past it is also your chance to correct the past.ġ. lee yi kyung is such a wonderful but underrated actor!!! this drama tells about a love that is so pure that even when a chance was given to change their fate, they chose to walk down the same path! i'm pretty sure it taught all of us some important lessons. and the emotions they portrayed whenever they thought of SEo joon was soo touching! the rest of the cast did a pretty amazing job too. every child around them reminded them of seo joon. The thing that i liked the most in this drama is that even if they went back to the past they never forgot about their son. one of my top ten best korean dramas! i had seen son ho jun's performance in my secret terius and i'm glad i got to see him in this as a main lead! jang na ra has always been exceptional and she did a wonderful job in portraying her role as a wife and as a mother! the baby that played the role of seo joon is so adorable too! It was funny, sweet, romantic, sad and painful. but the feelings that are coursing through my body right now make me feel so satisfied that i chose to give this a try. I honestly didn't expect much from this drama. Anyways, one of the best kdramas with an amazing performance from Jang Nara and Son Hojun, 10/10. I cried so much that my eyes became swollen though. Please watch it! It's such a beautifully portrayed drama with a time travel concept that is done very well. I know I'm going to be re-watching this several times in the future. My favorite quote from the drama: “Our youth, which was like the spring that had passed without giving us the chance to see the flowers, went around until it found us again, even more passionate and intense.” It doesn't matter how old you are, the messages and lessons this drama portrays relates to everyone: Not taking things for granted. I actually didn't feel the second lead syndrome at all for this one. I was always rooting for the main leads, I could tell their love for each other is very deep despite their hardships, downfalls, and misunderstandings. Their character development was very touching, and I cried with them. I could feel their true emotions as the story progressed. I could still easily empathize with the storyline and the characters, especially the two main leads. but this drama is made for all audiences. I'm not even close to the age of marriage. It's realistic with a touch of fantasy and a great balance of romance, comedy, and melodrama. they made an amazing drama with an beautiful message. Really, kudos to the writer, director, and the rest of the team. This, I think, is one of the things that makes this series as good as it is - not all relationships between a man and a woman must end up being a romantic one. Jin-Ju becomes more like a "mother figure" for Nam-Gil, and to a lesser extent, Ban-Do becomes a "father figure" for Seo-Young. Through their "flirtations" with Nam-Gil and Seo-Young (although in Jin-Joo's case, it was more of the case of Nam-Gil falling for her), both Jin-Joo and Ban-Do manage to turn Nam-Gil and Seo-Young respectively into better and more well-rounded individuals. But as the series goes on, we could see that obviously Jin-Ju and Ban-Do still have so much to do with each other - deep down they still love each other. Perhaps at the onset, Jin-Joo - Nam-Gil together, as well as Ban-Do - Seo-Young, did look cute (although I personally do not see it that way).
The track now stands at 2.9million YouTube views and is dominating the local airwaves. The backlash the lyrics attracted seem to have worked well in Roki’s favour as the song made history, bagging two million views in only 48 hours. “After all has been said, Jah Prayzah, Winky D and Roki are among, if not, Zim’s top talents with the quality and promise to scale the music heights, contribute to the country’s GDP and create opportunities for their compatriots at global levels. Since several Raw developer programs now include the ability to do local edits, there’s no reason not to go the extra step and make your out-of-focus areas look a little better. In fact, I apply a denoising strategy unique to each high ISO image to make sure that the nice bokeh from the lens is not hindered by unwanted roughness from noise. And second, I truly feel that the minor details, even if they aren’t immediately noticeable to everyone, add up and contribute to a subconscious enjoyment of an image. First, the result is very noticeable to me on a 4k monitor or in a print, even as small as 8×10. The final effect may be a bit more subtle, but I did it for two reasons. Therefore, I selectively applied a bit of smoothing to the green part of the image, which results in the final square. As improved as it is, there is still a little bit of splotchy roughness that would keep me awake at night if I couldn’t get rid of it. The second is the result after applying regular denoising. The first square is from the image before denoising. Smoothing the remaining roughness after noise reduction will make good bokeh stand out For example, consider the following image of a Song Sparrow: Typical one-click noise reduction doesn’t always yield ideal results. However, there is noise reduction and then there is noise reduction. Naturally, noise reduction is the answer. But although noise doesn’t arise from an optical property of the lens like chromatic aberration does, it still interferes with the enjoyment of good bokeh. Get Rid of NoiseĬan anything ruin good bokeh faster than noise? Well, maybe a broken aperture blade could. Of course, dust and dirt on the sensor itself is the worst, and will appear even in areas that are in focus! 6. Five minutes of maintenance on your lenses and sensor will prevent many nightmares in the wee small hours of the morning.Īlthough you should keep all your gear clean from top to bottom, as a rule, the closer the dust or dirt is to your sensor, the more it will show up in unwanted spots. If the bokeh circles are large and the dust plentiful, then this will easily be visible under ordinary circumstances. (Don’t worry, it’s not a lens I use, but a broken lens I use for demos like this.) These dust particles showed themselves in the bokeh circles making them look rough. Generally, good modern portrait lenses have many rounded aperture blades, such as the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4, which has 11!īefore and after cleaning the lens’s rear element While distinct hexagons may be chic in some circles, if you want rounder bokeh balls, aim for rounded aperture blades. The difference is that they are rounded in the Nikon. In fact, the Nikon still has seven blades like the Laowa. Is that because of many more aperture blades? No. Unlike the other two lenses, the bokeh balls remain fairly circular even when the lens is stopped down to f/2.8. This lens has seven blades rather than six, producing heptagons that are a bit closer to circles.įinally, we come to the bottom row produced by the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G lens. This is important to keep in mind because these lenses have made a bit of a comeback since the rise of lens adapters and mirrorless cameras.Īnyway, moving down to the middle row taken by the more modern Laowa 50mm f/2.8 2X macro, you can see that the aperture blades are better behaved here and never produce the shuriken bokeh of the Pentax. Such designs are prevalent on older, manual focus lenses. Tony mitigates that by paying for Kinobi from Mondada (a company recently purchased by Jamf), but that expense may not be something everyone can manage. The biggest issue here for some is the reliance on a patch definition feed for Patch Management, since Jamf’s own library of Patch Management titles is a small fraction of the titles AutoPkg can handle. While it does take some setting up for each application the process requires manual intervention only to stop an application patch package going in to production when a problem is found in a package or to speed it up if you need to deploy a security patch quickly. When a new version of an application is available a package is built and a patch is sent to a test group, after a set delay the package is moved into production where everyone with the app installed gets a patch to update and our application install policy is updated. This excerpt from Tony‘s blog describes the essential process: It leverages the Jamf Patch Management system, which was not available when JSSImporter was developed. Unlike JSSImporter, which deliberately relies on Self Service, the goal of PatchBot is to apply patches to managed systems with no intervention by the user or admin. Tony Williams added a new entrant to the party earlier this year: PatchBot. It won’t be for everyone, but it does have a community built up around it for help. There is a lot of depth in what has been provided by this tool, but it too requires a fair bit of initial setup and general understanding of both how Jamf Pro works and how JSSImporter works with Jamf Pro. To accomplish all this, it leverages the same API that the Jamf Admin app uses to interact with the Jamf Pro Server. Additionally, the user has to install the software using Self Service, which is meant as a safeguard. Įssentially, this was intended to add some Munki-like functionality to Jamf Pro using Jamf Pro’s native tools (e.g., policies, smart groups, Self Service). The JSSImporter processor adds the ability for AutoPkg to upload packages to a Jamf Pro distribution point, and create scripts, extension attributes, computer groups and policies in a Jamf Pro server (the server formerly known as "JSS"), allowing you to fully-automate your software testing workflow. Because of that and some other dependencies, it requires an installer. It’s not a traditional shared processor it needs to be located in autopkglib, the same place all the core processors are located. JSSImporterĪnother option is using the JSSImporter processor with AutoPkg. It is arguably the most powerful option available - commercial or not - and could be migrated should you choose to change to a different MDM platform. The human resources needed for Munki implementation and integration are the biggest hurdle - this was the path we were pursuing at my institution until some recent staff cuts made it too difficult to proceed. The UK company dataJAR has distinguished their MSP by building their deployment business around this with some added integrations ( "Auto-Update for Jamf", “jamJAR”). Once choice is to deploy Munki and let it do the work, thus working around some of Jamf Pro’s weaknesses in this regard. If we want to get the full benefit of AutoPkg with Jamf Pro, what choices do we have to integrate the two? I’m going to briefly discuss the four (great) Open Source options you currently have, and do a bit of a case study on the newest entrant, the JamfUploader series of shared processors. We are currently only taking advantage of those first two AutoPkg benefits: automating downloads and packaging. At my place of work, we adopted Jamf Pro as our management system. Some of you may even recall that I built a set of recipes for copying installer packages to the DeployStudio Packages repo, since that was my deployment system at the time. While AutoPkg was built for Munki, it was designed so that it could be extended to other management systems. Finally, you can get the full value of AutoPkg by having it upload those packages to your management system and automatically trigger their deployment using the methods required by that system. pkg format for deployment with that management system, so automating pkg creation is a time saver. Some also leverage its ability to post-process those downloaded items to make them more ready for deployment - Jamf Pro admins will be aware that everything needs to be in a. Some admins only leverage its ability to download the latest versions of the software you deploy in an automated, reliable fashion - that’s still a great value proposition. AutoPkg is a tremendous tool for Mac Admins. On a typical Windows 7 system, the amount of memory represented by the Committed Bytes counter is often well in excess of the actual installed RAM, but that shouldn't have an effect on performance. When a section of virtual memory is marked as "commit" - Windows counts it against that commit limit regardless of whether it's actually being used. The total amount of virtual memory which Windows has promised could be backed by either physical memory or the page file.Īn important word there is "could." Windows establishes a "commit limit" based on your available physical memory and page file size(s). As Microsoft developer Brandon Paddock noted in his blog recently, the Committed Bytes counter represents: (In Windows 7, you can still do that, as I've done in the gallery here.) The trouble is, Committed Bytes has only the most casual relationship to actual usage of the physical memory in your PC. Many of them talk about using the Committed Bytes counter in Perfmon to keep an eye on memory usage. You can learn more about virtual memory and page files by reading Mark Russinovich's excellent article Pushing the Limits of Windows: Virtual Memory.Īs I was researching this post, I found a number of articles at written around the time Windows 2000 and Windows XP were released. The most important thing to realize is that physical memory and the page file added together equal the commit limit, which is the total amount of virtual memory that all processes can reserve and commit. In modern versions of Windows, that is no longer the case. Many Windows users still think of this as a swap file, a bit of disk storage that is only called into play when you absolutely run out of physical RAM. To make things more confusing, there's also a page file (sometimes referred to as a paging file). Each page is a fixed size (typically 4 KB on a Windows system). Windows organizes memory, physical and virtual, into pages. So why do people get confused over memory usage? One of the biggest sources of confusion, in my experience, is the whole concept of virtual memory compared to physical memory. Even with that workload, I still had roughly 10% of physical RAM available. And, of course, three memory monitoring tools. At one point I had 13 browser tabs open, including one playing a long Flash video clip) at the same time I had opened a 1000-page PDF file in Acrobat Reader and a 30-page graphically intense document in Word 2010, plus Outlook 2010 downloading mail from my Exchange account, a few open Explorer windows, and a handful of background utilities running. Even on a system with only 1 GB of RAM, I found it difficult to exhaust all physical memory.
